Welcome to our Parish. Thank you for your interest in the life and ministry of St. Joseph Parish in Norman, Oklahoma. In the history of this parish community, the word “perseverance” has been important. The people of Norman, the Catholic community of St. Joseph and all who encounter Jesus Christ here are devoted to knowing, loving and serving the Lord.

We have many ministries and apostolates at St. Joseph Parish. We offer many opportunities for faith formation, education in the faith, small group discipleship, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the daily celebration of the holy mass. We are diverse parish community and celebrate mass in English and Spanish each Sunday. Finally, we are a parish that is on Mission and always pursing the many ways to proclaim the Gospel in the world. Enjoy this parish and we hope to see you every week at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The Benefits of Being a Registered Member at St. Joseph Parish, Norman, OK

We would like to extend an invitation to Catholics, and those wishing to become Catholic that live in the Norman area, to become a part of our parish family. Registering at our parish is to have a “home” in the Christian community. It also enables our priest, our parish staff and the parish family to welcome you and to become better acquainted. It is also important during a time of crisis so that the pastoral staff can offer spiritual assistance. Registration forms may be picked up in person at the parish office, mailed or emailed to you. 

Being an Active Parishioner is to:

- Fulfill what the Church teaches by attending Mass each Sunday and also Holy Days of Obligation.

- To have a faithful-responsibility to support the Parish financially. Parishioners are essential to the financial support of the Church through our website online-giving or pre-printed offering envelopes. You will also receive a year-end contribution statement for your tax purposes.

- To proclaim the Gospel and give witness to the Christian faith by being involved in at least one parish ministry. It is a beautiful opportunity to find spiritual growth.

- Be registered for at least six months and live in the Parish boundaries before preparing for any sacraments.
