Every year this Feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe commemorates the miraculous apparitions of Mary to St. Juan Diego.  The end of the apparition story reveals to us this beautiful image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  This image was a miraculous painting on the Tilma of St. Juan Diego.  A short 10 years after the apparitions, millions of people from Mexico were baptized and became Catholic. 

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the best of all Evangelists.  Her prayers bring about conversion after conversion in the hearts of believers.  Let’s pray with her and ask for her prayers for us.  We have many intentions that need to go before our God.  Our Lady of Guadalupe will bring every prayer, every need and all the worlds sufferings to the throne of Jesus Christ our King. 

Come celebrate with us on Monday, December 12th.  Mañanitas begin at  6 am in the Church and the Mass for Our Lady begins at 6:30 pm followed by a great feast in the gym.

Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe

 Cada año en el día de la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe conmemoramos las apariciones milagrosas de María a San Juan Diego. El final de la historia de las apariciones nos revela la imagen hermosa de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.

Esta imagen fue una pintura milagrosa sobre la Tilma de San Juan Diego. Apenas 10 años después de las apariciones, millones de mexicanos se bautizaron y se hicieron católicos.

Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe es la mejor de todos los evangelistas. Sus oraciones provocan conversión tras conversión en los corazones de los creyentes. Oremos con ella y pidamos sus oraciones por nosotros. Tenemos muchas intenciones que necesitan ir delante de nuestro Dios. Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe traerá cada oración, cada necesidad y todos los sufrimientos del mundo al trono de Jesucristo nuestro Rey.

This Thursday is an important Solemnity in the Church’s calendar.  One of the titles of the Blessed Mother is The Immaculate Conception.  This is one of the most misunderstood dogmas of Our Blessed Mother Mary.  The Immaculate Conception is not the Annunciation where Jesus is conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary.  Mary herself is the Immaculate Conception.  From the moment of her conception in the womb of St. Anne, Mary was blessed, consecrated and chosen to be the Mother of God.  A singular grace was given to her so that from the moment of her existence, she would be preserved from original sin, all sin throughout her life and prepared to say yes to being the Mother of the Son of God.  This is why the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of obligation.  Come to Mass on Thursday, December 8 to celebrate our Blessed Mother Mary, the Immaculate Conception.

Solemnidad de la Immaculada Concepción

 Este jueves es una Solemnidad importante en el calendario de la Iglesia. Uno de los títulos de la Santísima Madre es La Inmaculada Concepción. Este es uno de los dogmas más incomprendidos de Nuestra Santísima Madre María. La Inmaculada Concepción no es la Anunciación donde Jesús es concebido por obra del Espíritu Santo en el vientre de María. María misma es la Inmaculada Concepción. Desde el momento de su concepción en el seno de Santa Ana, María fue bendecida, consagrada y elegida para ser Madre de Dios. A ella se le dió una gracia singular para que desde el momento de su existencia fuera preservada del pecado original, de todo pecado a lo largo de su vida y preparada para decir sí a ser Madre del Hijo de Dios. Por eso la Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción es un Día Santo de precepto. Ven a misa el jueves 8 de diciembre para celebrar a nuestra Santísima Madre María, la Inmaculada Concepción.

"The Advent season is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and to the anniversary of Our Lord’s birth on Christmas. From the earliest days of the Church, people have been fascinated by Jesus’ promise to come back. But the scripture readings during Advent tell us not to waste our time with predictions. Advent is not about speculation. Our Advent readings call us to be alert and ready, not weighted down and distracted by the cares of this world (Lk 21:34-36). Like Lent, the liturgical color for Advent is purple since both are seasons that prepare us for great feast days. Advent also includes an element of penance in the sense of preparing, quieting, and disciplining our hearts for the full joy of Christmas."

Tiempo de Adviento

"La temporada de Adviento es un tiempo de preparación que dirige nuestros corazones y mentes a la segunda venida de Cristo al final de los tiempos y al aniversario del nacimiento de Nuestro Señor en Navidad. Desde los primeros días de la Iglesia, la gente ha estado fascinada con su promesa de volver. Pero las lecturas de las Escrituras durante el Adviento nos dicen que no perdamos el tiempo con predicciones. El Adviento no se trata de especulaciones. Thanksgiving has become a true American holiday full of indulgence and parades. But most of all, it is a time for families to manage a day of spending time together. Families need time together to talk, listen and love each other. We need to forgive each other. We need to put down the phones and have fun together.

Most of all, we need to pray together as a family and give thanks to God for all the blessings of our life. I want to invite you all to mass on thanksgiving morning at 8 am in the chapel.

Acción de gracias - Un día familiar

 El Día de Acción de Gracias se ha convertido en una verdadera fiesta estadounidense llena de indulgencia y desfiles. Pero, sobre todo, es un momento para que las familias manejen un día para pasar tiempo juntas. Las familias necesitan tiempo juntas para hablar, escucharse y amarse. Necesitamos perdonarnos unos a otros. Tenemos que dejar los teléfonos y divertirnos juntos.

Sobre todo, necesitamos orar juntos como familia y dar gracias a Dios por todas las bendiciones de nuestra vida. Quiero invitarlos a todos a misa en la mañana de acción de gracias a las 8 am en la capilla.

Quiero desearles a todos un bendecido Día de Acción de Gracias.

During this time of Eucharistic Revival, we need to turn to Jesus in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar for healing.  Healing of mind, heart and soul.  Jesus wants us to be full of His healing love when we pray to and receive Him in the Eucharist.  Here is a beautiful reflection from Pope Francis on this healing love,

"The Eucharist brings us the Father's faithful love, which heals our sense of being orphans. It gives us Jesus' love, which transformed a tomb from an end to a beginning, and in the same way can transform our lives. It fills our hearts with the consoling love of the Holy Spirit, who never leaves us alone and always heals our wounds".

Sanación Eucarística

 Durante este tiempo de avivamiento eucarístico, debemos acudir a Jesús en el Santísimo Sacramento del Altar para recibir sanidad. Sanación de mente, corazón y alma. Jesús quiere que estemos llenos de su amor sanador cuando oramos y lo recibimos en la Eucaristía. He aquí una hermosa reflexión del Papa Francisco sobre este amor sanador,

“La Eucaristía nos trae el amor fiel del Padre, que sana nuestra sensación de huérfanos. Nos da el amor de Jesús, que transformó un sepulcro de un fin a un principio, y del mismo modo puede transformar nuestra vida. Llena nuestro corazón. con el amor consolador del Espíritu Santo, que nunca nos deja solos y siempre sana nuestras heridas".

Venid a la Adoración Eucarística y experimentad este amor. Dios te bendiga.

We live in a world in desperate need of Jesus and His love.  Today, with your families, for the good of your soul, make a commitment to Jesus, to knowing and following Him in His Church.  Help your children to know Him and to see His love working in their lives. 

I want to encourage you to begin praying daily, as a family, for an increase in Vocations.  Yes, we need more priests and religious in our church.  We also need families praying together asking God to bless and guide them.  When you pray, remember the most basic calling of Jesus for all of us...to know and serve Him in this life so that we can live with Him forever in Heaven.

Ayude a sus hijos a decir 'Sí' a Jesús

 Vivimos en un mundo que necesita desesperadamente a Jesús y su amor. Hoy, con vuestras familias, por el bien de vuestra alma, haced un compromiso con Jesús, para conocerlo y seguirlo en su Iglesia. Ayude a sus hijos a conocerlo y ver su amor obrando en sus vidas.

Quiero animarlos a que comiencen a orar diariamente, como familia, por un aumento en las Vocaciones. Sí, necesitamos más sacerdotes y religiosos en nuestra iglesia. También necesitamos familias que oren juntas y le pidan a Dios que las bendiga y las guíe. Cuando ores, recuerda el llamado más básico de Jesús para todos nosotros... conocerlo y servirlo en esta vida para que podamos vivir con Él para siempre en el Cielo.

Dios los bendiga a todos.

The beginning of November is always dedicated to commemorating the Saints of the church and our loved ones who have died.  We ask for the prayerful intercession of the Saints. 

Their prayers go to Jesus and help us grow in trust in the Lord.  We pray for all the holy souls in purgatory.  Our prayers for them assist in their journey to Heaven. For those who have gone before us and await the kingdom, May God bring His eternal love. 

Join us on November 1st and 2nd for Holy Mass.

 El comienzo de noviembre siem[pre está dedicado a conmemorar a los Santos de la Iglesia y a nuestros seres queridos que han fallecido.

Pedimos la intercesión orante de los Santos. Sus oraciones van a Jesús y nos ayudan a crecer en la confianza en el Señor. Oramos por todas las almas santas del purgatorio. Nuestras oraciones por ellos ayudan en su viaje al Cielo. Para aquellos que nos han precedido y esperan el reino, que Dios traiga su amor eterno.

I want to say thank you to all our amazing volunteers at St. Joseph parish.  So many of you give your time and talents in beautiful and loving ways. 

I also want to thank all who give regularly to our parish collection. Weekly and monthly giving to the parish finances helps us to fulfill the budget needs and bring ministry to the people.  So far this fiscal year, our collections are higher and your generosity is appreciated.

I’m excited to announce this new initiative for our parish, Dame Mi Domingo/Give Me My Sunday.  On the last Sunday of each month, I wish to invite all parishioners to give a little more to our Sunday Collection. 

There will be special baskets in the church so you can make this offering as you leave.  You can also give Online or use the Dip Jar at the main entrance.  Think of these words, Dame Mi Domingo/Give Me My Sunday, as coming directly from Jesus.  He is inviting us to make a sacrificial offering to God and for His church.  He is inviting us to trust in Him. 

Can you give 10 or 20 or 50 dollars more to collection?  On October 29-30, I ask you to consider our Family Faith Formation Program.  We need your help purchasing all the materials to instruct our families and children.  The money you give will assist our Religious Education and Formation budget.

Jesus asks you, Dame Mi Domingo/Give Me My Sunday.  Thank you for your support and prayers for our wonderful St. Joseph Parish.

During the month of October, I want to offer you some reflections on the importance of saying yes to our Vocation.  A Vocation is our calling from God.  We live our vocations in many different ways, but the ordinary Vocations of the Church are Marriage, Priesthood and Religious or Consecrated Life. 

Today I want to consider this question, where do vocations come from?  Primarily, our knowledge, desire and encouragement of our Vocation comes from our families.  They can be inspired in other places too; from our schools, our parishes, with friends and our heroes, those who show us how to truly serve God.  But, the foundation of our vocation comes from the family.  We first learn to pray at home. Praying as a family is so important!  Spend time at home, with your spouse, children and grandchildren, praying, talk to Jesus, reading scripture and encountering Jesus together.  This is where Jesus begins to speak to our hearts.  Jesus will give an abundance of blessing upon those families that pray, offer sacrifices and worship God together. 

From this place of family love and prayer, Jesus speaks to our hearts.  Come and follow me!  Too often I hear of parents not encouraging their children to follow the will of God.  If your son or daughter is considering the priesthood or consecrated life, do not discourage them.  Show them love and support.  Show them how to say yes to the Call of Jesus.

Las vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas provienen de las familias

 Durante el mes de octubre quiero ofrecerles algunas reflexiones sobre la importancia de decir sí a nuestra Vocación. Una vocación es nuestro llamado de Dios. Vivimos nuestras vocaciones de muchas maneras diferentes, pero las Vocaciones ordinarias de la Iglesia son el Matrimonio, el Sacerdocio y la Vida Religiosa o Consagrada.

Hoy quiero considerar esta pregunta, ¿de dónde vienen las vocaciones? En primer lugar, nuestro conocimiento, deseo y estímulo de nuestra Vocación proviene de nuestras familias. También pueden inspirarse en otros lugares; desde nuestras escuelas, nuestras parroquias, con amigos y nuestros héroes, los que nos muestran cómo servir verdaderamente a Dios. Pero, el fundamento de nuestra vocación viene de la familia. Primero aprendemos a orar en casa. ¡Orar en familia es tan importante! Pase tiempo en casa, con su cónyuge, hijos y nietos, orando, hablando con Jesús, leyendo las Escrituras y encontrándose juntos con Jesús. Aquí es donde Jesús comienza a hablar a nuestros corazones. Jesús dará abundancia de bendiciones sobre aquellas familias que oren, ofrezcan sacrificios y adoren a Dios juntos.

Desde este lugar de amor familiar y oración, Jesús habla a nuestros corazones. ¡Ven y sígueme! Con demasiada frecuencia escucho de padres que no alientan a sus hijos a seguir la voluntad de Dios. Si su hijo o hija está considerando el sacerdocio o la vida consagrada, no los desanime. Muéstrales amor y apoyo. Muéstrales cómo decir sí al llamado de Jesús.

This week I want to simply thank all our wonderful volunteers, ministers, disciples, staff members and all who give to and support St. Joseph parish in any way.  What happens when we offer our time, talent and treasure to God for our parish family?  God gives an abundance of sanctifying grace.

The grace of God is His divine life and it is what makes us saints. God loves us and wants us to be the best version of ourselves. The glory of God is man fully alive!  Be fully alive with the love of God. Thank you to everyone who gives to this parish.  Thank you for your sacrifice.  Thank you God for your Divine Love.

The date, September 11th, is one that brings many feelings, memories and fear to our country.  We remember today all who died and all who gave their lives to save others.  We remember families who suffered loss on that tragic day in our country, September 11th, 2001. 

In the context of our Catholic faith and our love for Jesus, we ask for mercy.  God is good, even in the midst of great evil.  His mercy endures forever.  His faithfulness is everlasting.  When we think about the events of that tragic day, fear is often what follows.  Terrorism is terrifying for a reason.  Some say the great desire of a terrorist is bringing fear to individuals or to a nation.  But for us, we lean on the power and love of God.  When we do this, fear, hate, violence, war and terror can not win.  Even when we experience loss, we find meaning, resilience and purpose as a community of people who turn to Jesus and say, I trust in you. 

I encourage you to offer a rosary asking Jesus, through the prayers of our Blessed Mother, to bring and end to violence, war and terrorism in the world.  We pray for peace.  May the mercy of God endure forever.

No tengas miedo

 La fecha, el 11 de septiembre, es una que trae muchos sentimientos, recuerdos y temores a nuestro país. Recordamos hoy a todos los que murieron y a todos los que dieron su vida para salvar a otros. Recordamos a las familias que sufrieron pérdida aquel trágico día en nuestro país, el 11 de septiembre de 2001.

En el contexto de nuestra fe católica y nuestro amor por Jesús, pedimos misericordia. Dios es bueno, aun en medio de grandes males. Su misericordia es para siempre. Su fidelidad es eterna. Cuando pensamos en los eventos de ese trágico día, el miedo es a menudo lo que sigue. El terrorismo es aterrador por una razón. Algunos dicen que el gran deseo de un terrorista es traer miedo a los individuos o a una nación. Pero nosotros, nos apoyamos en el poder y el amor de Dios. Cuando hacemos esto, el miedo, el odio, la violencia, la guerra y el terror no pueden ganar. Incluso cuando experimentamos una pérdida, encontramos significado, resiliencia y propósito como una comunidad de personas que se vuelven a Jesús y dicen: en ti confío.

Los animo a ofrecer un rosario pidiendo a Jesús, a través de las oraciones de nuestra Santísima Madre, que ponga fin a la violencia, la guerra y el terrorismo en el mundo. Oramos por la paz. Que la misericordia de Dios dure para siempre.   Padre Irwin

Last year St. Joseph Parish decided to make a big change in our approach to Faith Formation for our families and children.  Family Faith Formation is an effort to adhere to the call of the Church to help families to create a true Domestic Church in their homes. 

Our hope is that parents, children and individuals will be able to learn more about their Catholic Faith and bring the practice of prayer, worship, devotion and learning into your daily lives.  Morning and evening family prayer time.  Conversations about God and the faith with your children.  Coming to Sunday Mass as a family.  Encouraging regular reception of the Sacrament of Confession.  Visiting the chapel for adoration as a family.  Sitting down weekly as a family to read and learn about the topics being presented at Family Formation Nights. 

All of this can be part of your normal busy lives.  Let God lead the way in your homes, on the way to school, when driving to soccer games or when getting ready for bed.  Creating a Domestic Church means letting God form the hearts, minds and souls of your family.  Pray for the success of our Family Faith Formation.  I invite all parishioners, young and old, to participate once a month in our Family Formation Night.  God bless you all!

Formación de Familia en la Fe

 El año pasado, la Parroquia San José decidió hacer un gran cambio en nuestro enfoque de la Formación en la Fe para nuestras familias y niños. La Formación Familiar en la Fe es un esfuerzo por adherirse al llamado de la Iglesia para ayudar a las familias a crear una verdadera Iglesia Doméstica en sus hogares.

Nuestra esperanza es que los padres, los niños y las personas puedan aprender más sobre su fe católica y llevar la práctica de la oración, el culto, la devoción y el aprendizaje a su vida diaria. Oración familiar matutina y vespertina. Conversaciones sobre Dios y la fe con sus hijos. Venir a la misa dominical en familia. Fomentar la recepción regular del Sacramento de la Confesión. Visitar la capilla para el culto en familia. Sentarse semanalmente en familia para leer y aprender sobre los temas que se presentan en las Noches de Formación Familiar.

Todo esto puede ser parte de sus ocupadas vidas normales. For many years now, our parish has had the gift of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.  In a parish of this size, we should never have a problem with filling in all the days and times needed for our adoration chapel. 

What are the benefits of perpetual adoration?  There are many, but I will offer three:  One, an increase in trust in God for all of life’s situations.  When we face struggles, sufferings and personal sin, we need to go to Jesus and say, I trust in you.  Two, Jesus hears our prayers and helps us to conform our will to His will for our lives.  Pray daily; Jesus, help me to do what you want me to do.  Three, the parish is blessed abundantly.  When I think about financial needs and spiritual needs, if we are coming to Jesus in adoration, if we are giving all of these needs to God, I am not afraid.  Jesus will take care of us. 

Call the parish today and find out about open adoration hours.  Come to our chapel any time of the day to pray and spend time with our Eucharistic Lord.  If you need the code to our chapel door, call our office, we want you to pray here with Jesus.  If you are an adorer, invite others to consider offering a time to be in our chapel each week.  God bless you all!

Necesitamos Adoradores!

 Desde hace muchos años, nuestra parroquia ha tenido el don de la Adoración Eucarística Perpetua. En una parroquia de este tamaño, nunca deberíamos tener problemas para completar todos los días y horarios necesarios para nuestra capilla de adoración. ¿Cuáles son los beneficios de la adoración perpetua? Hay muchos, pero voy a ofrecer tres: uno, un aumento en la confianza en Dios para todas las situaciones de la vida. Cuando enfrentamos luchas, sufrimientos y pecados personales, necesitamos ir a Jesús y decirle, en ti confío. Dos, Jesús escucha nuestras oraciones y nos ayuda a conformar nuestra voluntad a Su voluntad para nuestras vidas.  Orar diariamente; Jesús, ayúdame a hacer lo que tú quieres que haga. Tres, la parroquia es bendecida abundantemente. Cuando pienso en las necesidades financieras y espirituales, si venimos a Jesús en adoración, si le damos todas estas necesidades a Dios, no tengo miedo. Jesús cuidará de nosotros.

Llame a la parroquia hoy e infórmese sobre los horarios abiertos de adoración. Ven a nuestra capilla a cualquier hora del día para orar y pasar tiempo con nuestro Señor Eucarístico. Si necesita el código de la puerta de nuestra capilla, llame a nuestra oficina, queremos que ore aquí con Jesús. Si eres un adorador, invita a otros a considerar ofrecer un tiempo para estar en nuestra capilla cada semana. ¡Dios los bendiga a todos!

This week many of our students and teachers begin a new school year.  OU students are moving into their dorms and residences this week.  As we begin this academic year, let’s pray for all these students, teachers, administrators, professors and all who are involved.  We should also say a prayer for parents as they encourage and support their children in school. 

We are excited to start a new year of Family Faith Formation at St. Joseph Parish. This program is not just for our children. Learning and Formation in our Catholic Faith is a Family effort!  Parents, with their children, are invited to engage in this work of knowing, loving and serving Jesus in His Church.

Oraciones por estudiantes, maestros y un gran año escolar

 Esta semana muchos de nuestros estudiantes y maestros comienzan un nuevo año escolar. Los estudiantes de OU se mudarán a sus dormitorios y residencias esta semana. Al comenzar este año académico, oremos por todos estos estudiantes, maestros, administradores, profesores y todos los que están involucrados. También debemos decir una oración por los padres mientras animan y apoyan a sus hijos en la escuela.

Estamos emocionados de comenzar un nuevo año de Formación Familiar en la Fe en la Parroquia de San José. Este programa no es sólo para nuestros niños. ¡El Aprendizaje y la Formación en nuestra Fe Católica es un esfuerzo de Familia! Los padres, con sus hijos, están invitados a participar en esta obra de conocer, amar y servir a Jesús en Su Iglesia.

This weekend we joyfully celebrate the ordination and first Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving for Fr. Robert Miller and welcome him officially to St. Joseph as our new Parochial Vicar. 

After many years of formation and preparation, Fr. Miller is excited to begin his life as a priest of Jesus Christ.  Join us for his mass of thanksgiving and reception Sunday, August 7 at 4pm in the parish church and gymnasium.

Felicidades Padre Robert Miller!

 Este fin de semana celebramos con alegría la ordenación y primera Misa Solemne de Acción de Gracias del P. Robert Miller y darle la bienvenida oficialmente a San José como nuestro nuevo Vicario Parroquial.

Después de muchos años de formación y preparación, el Padre Miller está emocionado de comenzar su vida como sacerdote de Jesucristo. Únase a nosotros para su misa de acción de gracias y recepción el domingo 7 de agosto a las 4 p.m. en la iglesia parroquial y el gimnasio.

As your pastor, I am always grateful for the beautiful generosity of the people of St. Joseph parish. This last year at St. Joseph has been blessed in many ways, especially through your time, your talents and your financial gifts. Thank you for your love, support and generosity.

It is also this time each year when I ask you to please increase your giving to St. Joseph parish. I know this is hard. Gas prices are high. Everything is more expensive than last year. It is important as families to be prudent and spend your money in a smart way. This is true for the parish as well. Our monthly bills are going up significantly. At the same time we want to give our wonderful staff members a just wage and we need to support our many ministries at the parish. Here is the reality, We Need Your Help. Please consider raising your weekly and monthly gift. Can you give 5 to 10 dollars more a week? Can you make a sacrificial offering of 20 to 40 dollars more a month? Giving to God and the Church blesses you and helps you to trust in Jesus. Don’t be afraid!

Gracias por su generosidad

 Como su párroco, siempre estoy agradecido por la hermosa generosidad de la gente de la parroquia de San José. Este último año San José ha sido bendecido de muchas maneras, especialmente a través de su tiempo, sus talentos y sus dones económicos. Gracias por su amor, apoyo y generosidad.

También es en esta época del año cuando les pido que aumenten sus donaciones a la parroquia de St. Joseph. Sé que esto es difícil. Los precios de la gasolina son altos. Todo es más caro que el año pasado. Es importante como familias ser prudentes y gastar su dinero de manera inteligente. Esto también es cierto para la parroquia. Nuestras facturas mensuales están subiendo significativamente. Al mismo tiempo, queremos dar a nuestro maravilloso personal un salario justo y necesitamos apoyar nuestros muchos ministerios en la parroquia. Esta es la realidad, necesitamos su ayuda. Considere aumentar su donación semanal y mensual. ¿Puedes dar de 5 a 10 dólares más a la semana? ¿Puedes hacer una ofrenda de sacrificio de 20 a 40 dólares más al mes? This week on Thursday July 28th, we celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Stanley Rother.  It is a true blessing to have a priest from Oklahoma declared a Blessed, and we hope soon a Saint of the Church. 

We will gather to celebrate the life and martyrdom of Blessed Stanley and remember his dedication to the missionary life of the church.  Every baptized Catholic is called to live the life of a missionary disciple.  Living and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus is foundational to the life of the Church. Blessed Stanley went to Guatemala to live this call as a priest.  His example is so important.  Ask him for prayers, for your family, for your intentions, for your vocation, for all the needs of your life and especially so that you will be a true disciple of Jesus. Beato Stanley Rother

 Esta semana, el jueves 28 de julio, celebramos la Fiesta del Beato Stanley Rother. Es una verdadera bendición que un sacerdote de Oklahoma sea declarado Beato, y esperamos pronto que sea Santo de la Iglesia.

Nos reuniremos para celebrar la vida y el martirio del Beato Stanley y recordar su dedicación a la vida misionera de la iglesia. Todo católico bautizado está llamado a vivir la vida de un discípulo misionero. Vivir y proclamar el Evangelio de Jesús es fundamental para la vida de la Iglesia. El Beato Stanley fue a Guatemala a vivir este llamado como sacerdote. Su ejemplo es muy importante. Pídele oración, por tu familia, por tus intenciones, por tu vocación, por todas las necesidades de tu vida y sobre todo para que seas un verdadero discípulo de Jesús.
